I’m going to try really hard not to take that wonderful blessing for granted anymore.Īnd as soon as I get my taste buds all the way back to normal I will be darn sure not to take that blessing for granted either.įor a month after the surgery everything, and I mean everything tasted gross, but especially sugary things YUCK, they actually tasted like poison. Feeling good and being healthy is awesome. Something about hitting pretty close to rock bottom (health wise) during my recovery and having the gift of feeling healthy again has given me a new lease on life and I am just so darn happy to be healthy and alive and to have a body that can do things. Super fun actually, remind me to tell you about it sometime.Īs awkward as it feels to be typing a post, it is super exciting to me that I finally feel like myself again and want to share my day and dinner with my blog friends. Time really flies when you are recovering from a tonsillectomy. Holy cow! It’s been weeks since I typed a post.
